• You apply for the artistic entrance examination or you apply for the master application procedure.
• You will receive a confirmation form via e-mail.

• You take this confirmation form to the Belgian Embassy in your country to apply for your short term Visa (tourist Visa).

• For the bachelor application procedure, you come to Belgium to take the artistic entrance exam and you pay the 20 euro administration fee via bank transfer. Make sure that the money is transferred to our account 5 days prior to the admission examination (NON EU students may also pay in cash at the student administration office before the start of the examination).

• For the master application procedure, an interview will be planned if needed.

• The student administration can deliver on demand an official letter which confirms that you have passed the artistic entrance examination. You can take this official letter, which proves that you passed the examination, to the Belgian Embassy in your country to apply for your long term student Visa. If this document is not sufficient for the embassy in your country, you can receive an official document of subscription only after payment of your tuition fee (see further).

• APPLICATION FORM: When you passed the artistic entrance examination for the bachelor program in 2011 or 2012 you can fill in an application form online.
  When you passed the artistic entrance examination in an earlier year, or if you are allowed to the master or a preparatory program, you need to come to the student administration office to fill in an application form.
  
  
• DOCUMENTS: You need to send a copy of the following documents to subscription.ka@artesis.be or bring as soon as possible a copy to the student office.

• ID card/passport
• copy of the diploma needed to subscribe for the bachelor programme (foreign accreditation proof for the bachelor) or master programme (admission requirements master). If the original is in a language other than English, French, German or Dutch, it must be accompanied by a legalized translation. Transcripts must include a complete description of the institutional grading system or other standards of evaluation with maximum grades and minimum marks indicated.
• a document which grants you access to a university/university college (example) or a certificate of registration from a university
• a passport picture
  

• TRANSFER OF CREDITS OR INDIVIDUAL STUDY PROGRAM: To apply for a transfer of credits and/or an individual study program, you must follow the procedure as described on the page procedure-gst-evk. (attention: for the transfer of credits you need to have your study results, information from the study guide and information regarding the course)
  

• after payment of your tuition fee, studio fee, costs for field trips and general services before November 1st
• after the signing of your study contract at the student administration office before November 15th.
