Regular international students applying for the Master Program

MASTER CONSERVATION & RESTAURATION
- Students who have achieved a bachelor degree Conservation and Restauration at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp will be admitted directly to the Master in Conservation & Restauration:
Students need to submit a proposition for a master project before the start of their master year and look for a promoter themselves. He/she must be a member of the academic personnel of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and should be familiar enough with the proposed theme or the chosen discipline/medium. The student can also present a co-promoter, who doesn’t have to be connected to this institution.
The student has to submit his Master project before October 15 2012, signed by his promoter, at the student administration office.
- Students with a Bachelor degree in Conservation and Restoration from another institution:Â admission to the master by following the procedure described underneath.Â
Attention! If you would like to study in the Master Conservation and Restoration you need to prove a proficiency in spoken and written Dutch (level CEFR B2). See further details in the procedure for subscription.

MASTERÂ IN VISUAL ARTSÂ

- Students who have achieved a bachelor degree at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp that accords with the Master degree they want to subscribe for will be admitted directly to the according Master study field:
Students need to submit a proposition for a master project before the start of their master year and look for a promoter themselves. He/she must be a member of the academic personnel of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and should be familiar enough with the proposed theme or the chosen discipline/medium. The student can also present a co-promoter, who doesn’t have to be connected to this institution.
The student has to submit his Master project before October 15 2012, signed by his promoter, at the student administration office.
- Students with a Bachelor degree from another institution follow the procedure as described below
- Bachelor degree in Visual Arts with a corresponding study field and competency: admission to the according master study field
- Professional bachelor degree:Â bridging program and afterwards master program
- Other academic bachelor degree:Â Â preparatory program and afterwards master program
PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS WITH A DIPLOMA FROM ANOTHER INSTITUTION:

The online application and artistic portfolio will be evaluated.

If your aplication is retained, you will be invited for an interview with the program coordinator (and art program responsible/teachers from the chosen option/studio).

The date on which the interview will take place will be communicated through mail and/or telephone.

The decision about your admission will be announced by e-mail and/or telephone.
ATTENTION!Â
The final deadline for submitting your online application for the the academic year 2012-2013:Â
- Foreign students: before May 2, 2012, interview will take place before July 3, 2012. The application for the academic year 2012-2013 for foreign students is closed!
- Belgian students: before September 1, 2012, interview will take place before September 30, 2012.
