• You hold a diploma Secondary Education awarded by the Flemish Government,
• a diploma Higher Education, short type with fulltime teaching plan,
• a diploma Higher Education, social promotion (with exception of the certificate “Pedagogische Bekwaamheid”) or
• a diploma or certificate that is being acknowledged as equal by law, degree, European guideline or any other international agreement.

As a student for the bachelor degree in Visual Arts, you have to prove a basic proficiency in spoken and written Dutch (level CEFR A1). You can find here the different possibilities to prove your Dutch language proficiency.

As a student for the bachelor degree Conservation and Restoration you have to prove a proficiency in spoken and written Dutch (level CEFR B2).

 

All foreign students that reside in Belgium during their studies will need a valid Belgian residence card for the duration of the academic year.

The programs ‘Visual arts’ and ‘Conservation and Restoration’ are only accessible once you have passed the artistic entrance examination Visual Arts or the artistic entrance examination Conservation and Restoration. The details for the artistic entrance examination for 2012 will be made available online starting March 17, 2012.

 
The artistic entrance examination is spread over two calendar days and is held twice per academic year.

 

Dates artistic entrance examinations 2012:

• July 2 and 3, 2012 (two-day examination, starting July 2 at 9h). 
 
• September 3 and 4 ,2012 (two-day examination, starting September 3 at 9h).

ATTENTION: For Non EU students, we advise you to take the examination in July due to the fact that the visa-procedure could take a long time!
