Vertrekpunt is de ruimtelijke studie en de analyse van de natuur, in hoofdzaak via het menselijk figuur. De verschijningsvorm 'mens' wordt onderzocht via figuurtekenen, anatomisch tekenen en anatomie, en portret- en figuurboetseren naar levend model. Daarbij worden traditionele teken-, boetseer- en moulagetechnieken gebruikt, maar wordt ook ruimte gelaten voor alle andere materialen en technieken, met speciale aandacht voor steen en metaal.
Zo wordt een basis voor hand, voor oog, en voor inzicht gecreëerd van waaruit je ook andere creatieve werelden kan verkennen.
Naast deze basis, en gelijkwaardig ermee, wordt van jou van het begin af aan ook een eigen persoonlijke inbreng verwacht.
Via het vak compositie kom je los van de loutere figuurstudie en kan je verder uitdrukking geven aan je artistieke persoonlijkheid.

 

 

 

 

            

 

 

Dit kan evolueren in figuratieve richting, maar evengoed een totaal andere kant opgaan.

Uiteindelijke doelstelling is dat je zelfstandig een artistiek probleem kan onderzoeken en de resultaten van dit onderzoek visueel-ruimtelijk kan formuleren.

Starting point is the spatial study and analysis of nature, mainly through the human figure. The appearance ‘man’ is researched through figure drawing, anatomic drawing and anatomy and portrait- and figure-sculpting through live models. During these classes are traditional drawing-, sculpting- and moulding techniques applied, but there is also room for various other materials and techniques, with special attention for stone and metal. Thus a base is formed for hand, eye and insight from which you will be able to explore other creative worlds.
Besides this base, and equal to it, we also expect a personal input from you from the beginning onwards.
Through the course composition you will be able to detach yourself from strict figure study and you will be able to give more expression to your artistic personality.

This could evolve in a figurative direction but it may also go in the total opposite direction.

The main goal is to make sure you can research an artistic problem independently and will be able to form a visual-spatial inquest.
