By air:
The most frequently used gateway to Antwerp is the international airport of Brussels ('Zaventem'). The most comfortable and most speedy way to go from Zaventem to Antwerp exists in taking the SABENA coach, which takes one in about 40 minutes to the city centre (next to the Central Station). This coach can be taken at the main exit at Zaventem airport. It leaves every hour on the hour (from 7.00h till 22.00h). There is also a link from the airport to the Brussels stations, from where one can proceed to Antwerp.
An other possibility gateway is the international airport of Brussels South (“in fact Charleroi) which is used by some low cost carriers. Then you need to take the train from Charleroi to Antwerp central Station.
By train:
Antwerp can also be easily reached by train from France, the Netherlands and Germany. From England one can take the Chunnel and travel via Brussels.
Trains normally arrive at the Central Station, in the centre of the city.
By car:
Antwerp can be easily reached by car as it lies at the crossroads of the E17, E19, E34 and E313 motorways
